The following highlights my present academic state:
- I've done my finals.
- I've abandoned every piece of photocopy paper.
- I'm leaving my grades to the hands of fate.
Simply put, I'm on vacation. And I tend to slack to the fullest ;-)
Yesterday I gave more thought to the importance of reassurance. People in a state of dilemma asking an opinion/advice- and by doing so, hope that the weight of majority tendencies will lead them to make the 'right' decision.
Well- it's nothing new.
Also not new to know that such people already have the expected words at the back of their minds.
Personally, I don't think it's a fair trade. Simply stating personal preferences and trying to somewhat put it into their context. That would be misleading.
Nevertheless, I also occasionally spring my thoughts overboard with people. However I found it to be more of a rapport and not a report.
If we hit the stereotype, rapport talks are mostly adopted by females. Maybe that is the very case.
The idea of sharing, and not finding a solution, prones to be the essential.
