I went to let myself indulge the sensation of chocolate yesterday, at the Salon Du Chocolat. Kereenn, ngeliat ekspedisi coklat dari berbagai macam negara, eits.. indo juga ada loh, tapi sayang we didn't manage to make our own stand. Apart from the well-known Swiss and Belgium chocolates, the French decided that they could connect a string between the most romantic city with sugar, milk and cocoa. Afterall, romance and chocolate, they are to die for.
I had a chocolate-lover friend as company, jadi gue punya unofficial guide gitu ^ ^; Senangnyaa! Personally I'm not too much of it's fan though. I stopped by at a Japanese stand, and gawsh theirs was uniquely ornated. Too bad they don't have a shop in Paris. Chocolate with green tea in it... weird hein? Chocolate with alcohol... not for minors! ~_^ For those yg blom liat, dan niat ngeliat... mungkin it's best kalau lo nunggu buka puasa dulu, otherwise it'll be a major temptation. Bukaaan, bukan coklatnya aja, tapi tiap beberapa jam ada parade gitu, and the one I saw... whoa! Brazilian parade, girls with bikinis dancing around... ckck ;-) Btw, if you'd like to save 1.5 euros, buy the ticket sur place for ten. It ends Monday.
After that we went to the Louvre, my first time in the historic museum. Two years, first time. How lame. Even worse, we didn't actually go to the museum, but we were at the foodcourt. Hwahaha... *smacked*
Abis itu, ke WH Smith, as usual... ngeliat beberapa buku yg berhubungan sama The Da Vinci Code, like Da Vinci Decoded, etc tapi males baca^ ^; Hmm overall it was an excellent day.

For those who always cheer people up.
If everytime one thing strikes you, you decide to step back... is there even the slightest chance to advance? This, is the ultimate reason why people all around are telling you to 'hang in there', not that they're too ignorant on what the words really mean, but it's a question of being there for the person and providing the ideal answer to remount hope. For me, this expression projects an image of someone barely holding-on at the end of a cliff. It is therefore inhuman for someone to let that person 'fall' by saying 'if you really can't hold on any longer, it's okay, just let go.' Yes, it is absurd if you focuse on the image I've provided, but let's get back to the real world, shall we? =)
I personally don't think it's hypocritic, to be saying such a thing. Do you really want to be the reason for someone to, illiterally, die? Well I don't ^ ^; However I was faced with someone who did, around 5 years ago. Junior High, pony-tailed transfer student mia was stressing just after a proven failed history exam. Well, my Indonesian oral was great, however the textbook seemed to speak a different language :p I was strucked with these words that I can solemnly swear has changed many of the repeating events (failing-red ) Lo gak belajar kan Mi? Kalo gitu lo gak punya hak sakit ati.
Silence.
Instead of rebuilding my moral by saying "gapapa lagi Mi, ntar lo juga bisa" or "nilai raport kan dirata-rata, Mi...", hell I was ready to hear anything! But I guess I needed to hear those cold words from a friend.
For a 13 year old girl to have in her those sharp words, and letting me (out of all people-red) to hear it? Geez, that was something. I remember feeling quite sore about the whole thing. Picturing how she can say that with a straight face, giving a chilling intonation! Come on, I wasn't even 13 (Haha) It might just be one of the hundreds of phrases we threw against each other, but that particular one resonates at high frequency even until now. You might not even know who you are... but if you do and by chance are reading this, thank you for letting me fall that time, and I'm not being sarcastic =) Good news! I'm still alive! ~_^

GTO Live Action!
For those who are not familiar with the guy, I'll try to portrait him the best I could, without including my personal judgements, hoahaha.. as if that's possible!
Jadi gini, he's a damn pervert, irresponsible, immature guy, tapi a part of him is so naive. Rare, right? :-)
Yang jelas, kemampuannya untuk mendekat pada para siswa di kelasnya, yg semua bermasalah (sekali lagi, diluar konteks akademik), membuat dia lain, unik and in a good way, d i s t i n g u i s h e d .
Truthfully speaking, I wish to be like him, or maybe meet someone like him =) Well, not identically maksud gue.. tapi mentally (well not that too coz he's a bit.. hmm retarded, maybe?) urgh, susah dijelasin. It's just that, his impact is so great (hence the name Great Teacher Onizuka-red) among those, karena he believes in what he's doing. Whoa I hope that doesn't sound superficial :)
Kore wa yume? Do you believe in dreams?
Kadang gue merasa distinguished (in a bad way, now) because I don't. Well, at least not one that I want to speak of in public anyhows. Somehow a dream is like a curse, you can only get rid of it by reaching out and grasping your dream. Otherwise the guilt will last your lifetime. It will never let you go. You, will never really let go of it.
Onizuka reached his dream of becoming a teacher. I too, in a sense should continue searching and reaching mine. I can't help thinking where he was when I was in school :p I would've learnt so much not simply out from a tight ligned text book based on some theoritic fact, I would have learnt more about growing up. Ouw, scary- one hell of a big word.
School would've been complete education by itself. Really, if would have been =) But then again, that's what makes movie and reality two different dimensions, ihiehe. Last but most definitely not least, two thumbs up for this intelligently wrapped drama!!!

Ramadhan
Alhamdulillah, satu hari puasa telah kujalani. Ramadhan pertamaku jauh dari ayah bunda. Aneh rasanya, tak kusangka hanya setahun yang lalu kami masih bersama menunggu imsak, meramalkan hari ini. Ironis adanya, namun itulah nyata. Diawali dengan permohonan maaf, diakhiri dengan kesucian. Suatu hubungan sebab-akibat yang beralasan, meski aku kurang memahaminya.
Baru hari inilah aku merasakan hawa udara musim gugur.

Gue, untuk duduk disampingnya juga jadi rada ngeri, so I took the seat opposite. However, there was one lady on the other couple of folded seat but she did not seem to care all that much. So there I was, disamping gue juga ada orang sih. Terus terang aja hati gue sempet gak sreg juga ngeliat tuh tas terlantar... it seemed... suspicious. Tiga atau empat stasiun berlalu, no one talked. Dalam pikiran gue udah macem2 terlintas! Especially after the mini bomb at the Indo Emb a while back, I'm on super alert. I remember thinking that with that much explosives, it was going to be Barcelona's sequel- not very funny. I can't say that I was 'dead' scared, because it wasn't true. I kept thinking that this sort of thing cannot and will not happen in front of my eyes. Nevertheless, I opted to keep my head down dan berzikir.
Saat gue udah lupa itungan stasiun, the woman beside me took her chance and 'asked' the lady near if the bag belonged to her. Obvious answer was heard. Now more people panicked, stood up, stared at the bag in teror. Well Hellooww! Ckck... bukannya ditaruh disamping dia ^ ^;; People, the way they think, and what they let others to think... benar-benar membingungkan. Gue pernah denger gini, wajah asli seseorang hanya dapat terlihat saat ia mendekati kematian.

Innalillahi wa innailaihi roji'uun
Another day passes by...
Innalillahi wa innailaihi roji'uun,
Humankind is a subject of time. Walau gue udah tau itu, ttp saja setiap kali gue denger kabar meninggalnya seseorang, gue terdiam sesaat dan flashback interaksi bersama orang tersebut sesaat dimainkan dalam kepala gue. Today, it was my aunt's turn. Lepas dari statusnya sbg tante gue, gue kurang deket sama dia. But she was always there, you see. Her, with her ideals has been a part of my years in Jakarta.
As hard as we want to try to put a smile on their damp faces, we are faced with the etiquette or to respect the boundry, to leave them moarning. Believe me, there is such thing as a good cry. It is therefore, inappropriate, to make them feel happy on the day. Here, the proof of destiny lies evidently, because seakan2 kita sudah harus merasa sedih, meski walaupun tanpa disuruh pun kita akan sedih.
Then what happens next? Setelah beberapa minggu berlalu, apa yg menjadi sikap kita terhadap keluarga yg ditinggal? Try to make them smile once again? Or stay mute and wait 'till they let us make them smile?

A memory of the past, maybe?
HWaa! Akhirnya, waktu itu datang juga! hii senengnyaa.. My books are coming! hwahaha.. arigatou nii-san, grâce à toi.. je pourrai lire des romans indonesiens! Abis selama ini yg gue tau cuma Eiffel... I'm in love sama JomBlo, yg lainnya udah lama gue abandon. Oh iya, waktu baru2 pulang dari Canberra, gue lumayan rajin baca Lupus, cuma ntah kenapa.. gue akhir2nya malah jadi lbh demen ama komik^^; *just what to expect from me!* ihiehe :-)
Hmm.... gilaaa... i can't wait till the 24th! eh gak juga deng, my test is on the 23rd, so.. tp ya who cares, no biggy. Right, sekarang gue akan mulai roman gue :p
The sky was lightly distracted by God's divine power when my heavy footsteps brought me into the familiar yet mundane view, yesterday. Hunched in my seat, I stared at the dark coloured floor. With the presence of my older brother, we travelled silently through chains of warning buzz that's being pressed every 1 to 2 minutes*. A soft odor forced me to lift my chin with much effort. A perfume, lightly scented, sends it's impulse to my brain and started to perpetuate nostalgic videos in my head. But where did it come from? I will never know the answer... people went on and off, leaving me confused with the on-going scent. I have not figured what scene it played up until now, fairly strange indeed. Yang gue tau, parfum itu pernah jadi penting dlm hidup gue... wonder if it's my mom's? ihiehe.. i don't know. It smelled like a guy's perfume though, but sweet jugaa.. makanya gue bingung! Or maybe it was all in my imagination? Maybe I was simply craving for a strawberry cheesecake flavored ice-cream! hwahaha, that'll be real cute ^ ^
* Can't find a better way to describe the metro, ihehhehe.. =)

WH Smith
If I was to close my eyes and imagine what people I know are doing around the globe at this instant moment, I would be so feared up to know that one is having champagne whilst another is attempting suicide. Without any relevance to my first sentence, I will continue my blog in an ordinary fashion :p
Boring. I need something new. It was really interesting saat gue disana, melihat anglophones buying books that can literally tear them up to pieces if the Vietnam war was to recommence in Paris :p. There was a whole section on it, I was thrilled *evil grin*
Gue gak kan ngadain book expedition di blog gue, I'll try my best to avoid any commercial proceedings :p
I can't help showing you the quote though, I found it hilarious.

inefficient, treacherous, intolerant, adulterous or incredibly sexy. They just
didn't make it into my book …" ;-)
